Association of Belarusians in Finland is against the war in Ukraine and against the use of Belarusian territory by Russian forces.
The Association of Belarusians in Finland (Suomen valkovenälästen järjestö ry) is an organization uniting members of the Belarusian diaspora in Finland.
The objectives of the Association include providing humanitarian and other assistance to Belarusians, promoting Belarusian culture and language, expanding cultural cooperation between Belarus and Finland on a state and individual level, facilitating integration of Belarusian immigrants in the Finnish society, arranging cultural and educational events, as well as other objectives listed in the Rules of the Association.
The Association spreads the information on the current situation in Belarus in the Finnish media, communicates with the Finnish authorities and organizations on behalf of the Belarusian diaspora in Finland, promotes interests of the Belarusian students in the Finnish universities, and provides other assistance to Belarusians.
